Athlete crossing the finish line

About Next Summit Endurance

There Is Always Another Summit Worth Pursuing.

Built from a personal journey of discovering what is still possible — for athletes who want to accomplish something meaningful and are willing to work for it.

How It Started

Chris — Head Coach, Next Summit Endurance

Head Coach

Chris

Next Summit Endurance was built from my own journey of discovering what is still possible. I didn't come to endurance sports as an elite athlete. I came to it looking for a challenge, and along the way I learned that progress is rarely a straight line.

From struggling in the water to crossing an Ironman finish line, the journey taught me that persistence, consistency, and the right support can take us farther than we think.

I created Next Summit Endurance because I believe there is always another summit worth pursuing. That summit might be your first 5K, a marathon, your first triathlon, an Ironman, a personal best, or simply becoming stronger and healthier than you were yesterday. The goal is personal. What matters is having the courage to pursue something meaningful to you.

Coaching Philosophy

My coaching philosophy is built around four things: encouragement, accountability, a clear plan, and availability. Training should challenge you, but it also has to work within the realities of your career, family, and life.

Great coaching isn't about forcing every athlete into the same system. It's about understanding the person, the goal, and the life behind the training.

Encouragement

Every athlete needs someone in their corner who believes in them — especially on the hard days.

Accountability

Consistent progress requires consistent effort. I keep you on track when motivation fades.

A Clear Plan

No guesswork. Every training week has purpose, structure, and a path toward your goal.

Availability

You have direct access to your coach. Questions, adjustments, and support — when you need it.

Who I Coach

I coach age-group athletes who want to accomplish something meaningful and are willing to work for it. You don't have to be the fastest person at the starting line, and you don't need an athletic résumé to belong here. You just need a goal that matters to you. Whatever your next summit is, you don't have to climb it alone.

Training, Education & Affiliations

My coaching approach combines endurance-specific education, leadership experience, and a commitment to helping athletes grow both in sport and in life.
